Hydrangea petiolaris (Climbing Hydrangea)
Deciduous climber, with aerial roots that cling to the wall, so the plant needs no fixing. It has fresh green leaves and rough textured bark. White heads of flowers are produced in early summer. This is a very useful plant for city gardens as it thrives on a north-facing wall and needs no pruning. Don’t let it dry out, especially if it is growing in a pot as it hates hot dry conditions.

Viburnum davidii
A shrub with a low-mounded habit. It has dark green pointed oval leaves, which are evergreen. Small white flowers are produced in June followed by turquoise berries in winter. There are male and female forms, but having several plants growing together will ensure berries. A tough plant for sun or shade.
