The concept
Boy Meets Girl
is an unusual exploration of gender roles. In this three-part series,
four men and four women undertake to transform themselves into members
of the opposite sex. They must walk, talk, dress, behave and think differently
as they develop a character who they will play while 'living' as the opposite
sex.
During the three programmes,
the four least convincing participants will be eliminated, leaving just
four to go on to the final stage of the experiment. In the last part,
each participant must spend a day in the outside world, completely in
character and without support.
