Programme 3: Manchester

The two remaining boys meet up for a girls' night out in Manchester. They will go to a club, strut their stuff and see how convincing they can be. Will the Mancunian lads be lining up to buy them drinks and ask for their phone numbers? When they are approached by men, the 'girls' are surprised by how intimidated they feel.

Bristol

The girls join a coachload of football fans to watch Bristol City away. Will they be able to stand a day of beers, football chants and aggression on the terraces without the feminine cracks starting to show? Both girls find conversation with the other football fans very difficult. 'I was reduced to adolescent grunts,' says one. Both find staying in character for the whole day an exhausting experience. Both desperately miss being a girl.

The reckoning

In the final part of the series, each participant must perform a task on their own — one which will push them to the very limits of how convincing they can be as members of the opposite sex.

One girl must play football for an evening. She must negotiate the changing rooms, have a laugh with the lads and keep goal, despite not having played football for 15 years.

The other girl must become a butcher's apprentice for the day, rising at 4am and going to Smithfield market to select cuts of meat. Not an easy task for any vegetarian, let alone one in drag.

One of the boys must look after two children, both under the age of two, for an entire day. Just how easy is feeding a toddler who's missing his mummy? Will our boy be able to handle the incessant day-to-day demands of small children?

The other boy faces a different but equally tough challenge: he must learn to pole dance and give a performance in Sunset Strip, a London nightclub. Can he conceal his male physical attributes? Can he suppress enough of his heterosexual male persona in order to turn men on with his womanly wiles?

(Almost) all will be revealed.
