This series comes hot on the heels of the extremely popular A Place in France, which detailed two friend's ambitious, and at times stressful, attempts to find and renovate their dream holiday home in France.

This time, the action surrounds Coventry couple Brian Saunders and Andrew Sutton as they pursue their dream of building their very own home in Greece.

Finances are tight, so to help get the project off the ground they enter into a partnership with friends Peter and Lesley Cardy, who are also keen to have a place abroad.

We follow the trials and tribulations of the foursome as they travel to Greece in search for the ideal location.

After a disastrous run of tumbledown barns, views of power pylons and lumpy lunar landscapes they finally find a plot with a view, but other developments soon threaten to break both friendships and bank balances.

When the men announce they are planning to move in permanently, Pete and Lesley are ready to pull out.

And the team must still face infuriated developers, expanding properties, financial ruin and the odd very cross cockerel before they realise their dream.

In the opening episode, the foursome are treated to a guided tour of their chosen area by local man Anthony - but the lack of a common language has hilarious and potentially disastrous consequences.
