Asolo is a delightful hill town in the Veneto region with good access to lots of gems like Vicenza, Padua, Treviso and many many Palladian Villas.

Upon arrival we were welcomed warmly and shown to our room, a standard double. It was large, airy and beautifully dressed. We had air con, a good desk and excellent lighting, a settee, ample storage, a bowl of fruit and bottle of wine to welcome us, a mini bar and a fabulous bathroom with a state of the art massage shower. Towels and toiletries were bountiful and of top quality. Turn down service is provided every evening with slippers and chocolates provided, of course!

Breakfast was first rate, excellent coffee and delicious fresh baked bread, served on the terrace so we had splendid views over this town. But the hotel does not have a restaurant however many are on the doorstep and the staff are happy to help and make reservations and recommendations.

The hotel is family owned and it shows, attention to detail is paramount throughout and the atmosphere is warm, welcoming, and relaxed. It should be noted that this hotel has many amusing state of the art quirks, but I will say no more as everyone needs surprise now and then but just make sure you need to use the public cloakroom on the ground floor....!

Highly recommended to all my friends and should really suit everyone but particularly those who love Palladio or those who need a quiet base outside Venice.
