First poll age(before makeover) = 48
Final poll age (after makeover) = 36
Real Age = 34

34-year-old Laura Hammond wouldn't appear at first to need a 10 Years Younger makeover with a body to die for. Her stomach is flat, and she's got the sassy ass of a super model. If it weren't for her face, all would be well. But Laura's liking for the sun and years of not looking after her skin, have left her looking a lot older than she really is. Find out more about her transformation.

Hair
Andrew Barton, Stylist at Saks Hair & Beauty
  • Bleached blonde Laura was introduced back to her more natural hair colour.
  • Andrew used a hazel nut brown tone which complemented the hazel flecks in Laura’s eyes.
  • By going darker, it gave Laura shinier, more expensive and healthier looking hair.
  • Straggly ends were snipped away and a variation of the Classic Bob finished off Laura’s new look!
  • Top Tip: If changing hair colour, unless you are trying to make a big statement, avoid going to the extremes. Considering your eye colour and skin tone will keep the colour looking soft and natural.
Make-up
Ruby Hammer, Make-up Artist
  • For her work-look Ruby kept Laura’s make-up natural and muted.
  • Ruby applied a base foundation down the central pane of the face and then blended it out to the sides. Topped with powder, Laura’s base was set.
  • For the eyes, Ruby used a light, a medium and a dark colour. The light colour was used on the brow bone, the medium on the lids and the darker shade on the lash line.
  • Eye lash curlers are an essential tool in anyone’s make-up bag, and are great for opening up the eyes.
  • For the lips, Ruby opted for a gloss. It’s easy, quick and can be reapplied throughout the day.
  • A muted make-up look for work can be easily glammed up for the evening, by simply adding eyeliner, or a brighter lip gloss. Adding this one simple thing can take the face into another dimension, giving two very different looks from day into night!
  • Top Tip: Apply brusher after lipstick; this avoids overdoing the colour on the cheeks.
