Lorraine has a makeover!

For many women the thought of fitting into a size 8 bikini is the stuff of fashion magazine fantasy, but being thin isn't always what it's cracked up to be, especially for petite Lorraine from Tunbridge Wells. Following weight loss surgery, Lorraine dropped froma size 22 dress, losing nine stone but leaving her with more saggy bits than you could shake a stick at. - Andrew used sections of carefully placed pink highlights. Choosing a bright colour, such as the pink used in Lorraine’s hair, adds gloss, shine and texture.
- Andrew decided to take away some of the length of Lorraine’s hair as her pixie like features means she can carry of the drama of shorter lengths
- Cute bobs and crops suit people with delicate facial features like Lorraine. But steer clear if you have larger features or are a larger lady.
- Andrew went for a tousled crop, which is edgy and individual, to finish off Lorraine’s new look.

- Lorraine loves to buy make up and like many women she owns more products than she actually uses. Like food, make up also goes off once opened. Ruby suggests de-cluttering your make up bag twice a year to avoid using items which are past their best.
- The cosmetic industry has now introduced a use-by date on all products. The symbol is an open cream pot containing the length, in months, which products should be kept after opening. For example 6M, means you can use the product for 6 months after opening.
- These use-by-dates depend on the ingredients in the individual products, for example mascaras usually have a use-by-date of 6M whereas lip sticks can last up to 24M.
