Nerys has a makeover!

Food lover Nerys decided that after years of overeating, it was time to lose some of her 20 stone. She underwent weight loss surgery and lost an incredible 8 stone in just 8 months. Fantastic for her health, but leaving her figure with the tell tale boobs that have headed a long way south. Add to this a wrinkled stomach with excess overhang and droopy eye bags, and Nerys was in need of some help from the 10 Years Younger team.

Nerys has natural curls which she tended to brush out and so Andrew showed her how to use her natural bounce to create the Hollywood Curl Look!
Andrew added subtle highlights to give the impression of shine and give Nerys an overall sun kissed look.
For the cut, Andrew added some layers, as naturally curly hair kept at one length can look untamed and drop into an unflattering triangle shape.
As Nerys has thick hair, Andrew used a serum product (a cream product can be used too) to add shine to the curls without making the hair feel hard and brittle.

Make-up
Ruby Hammer, Make-up Artist

As Nerys never used cosmetic products or moisturisers on her face, her skin was dry and tort. Ruby applied a 10-minute hydrating mask, which gives skin a dose of intense moisture.
Ruby lightly applied an eye cream on the lower bone of the eye and under the eye brow. Placing the cream (or gel) on the bone not too near the eye, allows heat in the skin to transfer the moisture nearer the eye, as putting cream all over the eye can actually make eyes puffier.
Using tweezers, Ruby shaped Nerys’s eyebrows. She created an arch that would help frame Nerys’s face and give her features more distinction.
Nerys is not used to a lot of make-up, so Ruby kept the application light and the colours soft and subtle, for an overall natural glowing look.
