The focus this season will be on natural hair colours and subtle tones that flatter and illuminate the complexion.
We see the end of the dramatic harsh shades, as icy platinum blondes give way to softer pastel, honey and peachy shades and brunettes blend into dark blondes and warm caramels.
Keep it natural
Seek to enhance rather than change your natural hair colour and opt for slightly lighter rather than darker shades as these will always give your skin a more youthful glow.
If you are looking to cover grey, again opt for a shade that matches your pre-grey natural colour, or one shade lighter. This will serve to bring light to your skin-tone and will enable your root area to grow out more gracefully.
This season we will see a move to warmer colours, with golden and copper tones appearing in blondes, brunettes and reds.
This can be tricky if your hair has naturally ash tones and your skin is cool-toned. If this applies to you, then you could try a shade ever so slightly warmer than your usual shade or natural colour.
