Episode 11 - Louise Chambers

Poll Age (before makeover) - 50

Poll Age (after makeover) - 38

Real Age - 39

Looking after herself had been quite low on Louise Chambers priorities. Instead she’s been having fun roaring around Bognor on her motorbike.

Her job as a swimming instructor means she spends six days a week immersed in chlorine – not great for delicate skin and hair. Louise is still only 39, but a poll of motorbike enthusiasts added a further 11 years to her age.

It was time for Louise to get some va-va-voom into her beauty routine, learn about some chemicals which will help her skin and ditch those biker leathers for some pretty dresses.

Louise had the following treatments, and wore the following outfits to complete her new look:

Treatments

Cosmetic Surgery

Mr Jan Stanek Surgical Aesthetics

  • Chemical peel on upper face
  • Botox
  • Injectable fillers

  • Dentistry

    Dr Surinder Hundle Dentist

  • Ceramics
  • Home whitening

  • Hair

Andrew Barton Stylist at Saks Hair & Beauty

  • Years of swimming had taken its toll on Louise’s hair. The chlorine had stripped its strength and vitality leaving it fine and straggly.
  • Andrew worked with Louise’s natural curl to create a short shapely cut which fell softly around her face.
  • He replaced the dry bleached look with three natural shades of luscious blonde.
  • For added volume and thickness, use mousse. Apply to wet hair and then blow-dry – it will also make your hair much more manageable.

  • Make-up

    Ruby Hammer Make-up Artist

  • One of the most important things for Louise was to protect her face from the elements - the weather and the chlorine! – so Ruby began by applying a moisturiser with SPF (Sun Protection Factor).
  • TOP TIP: Use a brush to apply your eyeshadow and work from the outer edge of the lid inwards as this way its much easier to blend the colour and get even coverage.
  • Eyeliner can sometimes look heavy, so instead Ruby used a thin line of a darker shade of eyeshadow which she applied with a brush.
  • Finally, the look was finished off with waterproof mascara which should withstand even Louise’s hectic lifestyle.
