This elegant city is filled with historic buildings, quaint harbours and excellent restaurants. Explore winding cobblestone streets and broad tree-lined avenues, follow the “Freedom Trail” and discover the city’s colourful past (Paul Revere, the Boston Tea- Party etc.) or simply watch the world go by as you stroll through splendid “Boston Common” - the city’s beautiful 50 acre central park.
Don’t forget the fabulous shopping at one of the many downtown malls, or the designer outlets where you’ll find endless bargains. The expression “shop-till-you-drop” was reputedly coined here!!
In the evening take in a show, enjoy a meal at one of the excellent sea-food restaurants in the harbour or have a drink (or two!) at one of the many friendly bars, and don’t forget to pop into the famous “Bullfinch “ used as the bar in the TV series “ Cheers

Fortnightly prizes- Every fortnight the best entry in each category will win a pair of tickets to BBC Gardeners World Live and a £20 Cuprinol voucher Grand prize- The best overall entry chosen by Channel 4 from all the fortnightly winners will win a family holiday to Boston, USA.
The fortnightly competition will run from Monday 17th March – midnight Sunday 30th March and fortnightly thereafter until 9th June 2008 The overall winner of a trip to Boston will be chosen on 30th June 2008 and contacted by email.
Winners will have 14 days to respond to notification they have won and if they do not respond an alternative winner will be selected.
