Teens on Trial

RICHARD - GRAFFITI

Richard Mulvihill is a 14 year old from Lincoln who wants to be a graphic designer when he grows up. In the last two years Richard's passion for art has developed into a passion for graffiti. Despite being told off by his parents and being caught by the police Richard has tagged his way around Lincoln, on walls, railway bridges and in the town centre. Richard thinks that graffiti is undervalued and can't see what harm he's doing. He uses spray paints and marker pens to further his art and make his mark on the city in which he lives. He has been in trouble at school and home for graffiti, but despite being caught a couple of times by the police and searched for sprays and pens, he hasn't been in real trouble with the police yet.
