When 17-year-old Indian food lover Rouni orders her favourite Indian takeaway, she finds out she is going to be swapping her council flat in Milton Keynes for the spice markets of Delhi to learn how to prepare a traditional vegetable samosa. How will she cope with such a completely different culture when she's never left the UK before? As Rouni tastes real Indian food, shops for ingredients, grinds chilli and attempts to cook an authentic samosa, she learns lessons not just about food, but about herself.
