It's about more than just food…
Teenage takeaway aficionados are whisked away to the country of origin of their favourite dish, and put under the wing of a mentor for a crash course on how to prepare the authentic version of their best-loved dinner.
By the end of each programme, the teenagers have not only had a taste of a very different culture, they've also shopped for, caught, and even killed the raw ingredients, learned how to cook the dish and been marked out of 10 by an expert taster.
It's an experience they'll never forget, and most of them go home buzzing with new ideas – and not just about food.
