Frequently Asked Questions

How do I purchase the service?
Select the Subscribe Now option on this site and simply complete and print off the online form. Post or fax the completed form to: 4Learning, PO Box 400, Wetherby, LS23 7LG. Fax no. 08701 246 446.
Alternatively you can call our customer services team on 08701 246 444 and they will send you an order form.

How much does a subscription cost?
For all product and pricing information, please look at our View Products section.

How do I pay?
Schools and other educational establishments can choose to pay by Channel 4 invoice, cheque or credit/debit card. We accept Visa, Matercard, Switch and Delta. For non-educational establishments payment is with order only.

Can I pay with e-Learning Credits?
Yes, please check the e-Learning Credits box on the order form when you purchase the service.

Can I have a trial?
We do not currently offer this service. Information and taster content is accessible from the View Products section.

Can I access the service from home?
All Channel 4 subscription services can be accessed from home and school.

How will I receive my password?
Once your payment has been confirmed we will email your user name, password and Unique Identification Number to the email address on your order form. This information will also appear on the despatch notice that we will send to you. Please keep this information in a safe place. You will be asked for your Unique Identification Number in any correspondence about the service.

How long will it take to receive my password?
Subscribers should receive their username and password by email within 10 working days of receipt of your order.

How do I access the service?
If you are a subscriber go to www.channel4.com/learnsubscribe, enter your username and password, and then click on the links to the content your are subscribed to. A special subscription navigation bar appears across the top of all Channel 4 paid-for content from which you can access our 'quicklinks' page, which allows you to navigate easily between different paid-for content. You can also log-in directly from each subscription site.

Can I give the login details to my students?
Yes, teachers are advised to distribute access account details to their students so they can also access the service away from the school site.

What do I do if I can't log in?
If you have difficulty accessing the service, you can contact our customer services and technical support through the Contact Us link.

What is the Unique Identification Number (UID)?
Each new subscriber will be given a nine figure Unique Identification Number (UID). This will be emailed, along with your username and password, to the email address on your order form. If you purchase additional subscription services these will retain the same UID. Please keep your UID in a safe place as you will be asked for it in any correspondence about the service.

Can I order by telephone?
We regret that we cannot take direct telephone orders for online subscription services. However, you can request an order form by calling 08701 246 444.

How can I contact you?
To email customer services and technical support, click on the Contact Us link. Alternatively you can telephone on 08701 246 444 (customer services) or 0870 900 8900 (technical support).

What do I do if I've forgotten my password?
Please click on the Forgotten password? link and fill in the details and we will send you a reminder.

Can I change my password?
We regret we are currently unable to offer this service.

How do I renew my subscription?
Simply complete the standard order form on this site and tell us you are an existing subscriber and we will extend your access entitlement.

Can I use the service with the whole school?
Yes, all Channel 4 subscription services can be used simultaneously throughout the school and at home.

Can I add further services to those I already have?
Yes, just complete the standard order form, let us know you are already a subscriber and we will add the extra service(s) to your account.
