Benjamin Zephaniah
Writer and poet Benjamin
Zephaniah was born in the district of Handsworth, Birmingham. Benjamin’s writing is
strongly influenced by the music and poetry of Jamaica and he can’t remember a time
when he was not creating poetry. For his self-portrait, Benjamin has chosen to perform
his poem, ‘Naked’.
