Documentary series examining the human and environmental impact of our choices as consumers, focussing on three consumer products: chocolate, mobile phones and T-shirts.

Programme 1 - Chocolate
What goes into a chocolate bar? What do the terms 'organic' and 'Fairtrade' actually mean? With a look at the cocoa co-operative in Ghana, students are encouraged to reflect on their choices and to understand how, collectively, our purchasing patterns can make a difference.

Programme 2 - T-shirts
The environmental impact of cotton production, the difficulties of ensuring an ethical supply chain, and a look at alternative textiles for the future. Students are encouraged to reflect on their choices and to understand how, collectively, our purchasing patterns can make a difference.

Programme 3 - Mobile Phones
How the pressure to upgrade mobile phones impacts on world resources and what happens to recycled phones. Students are encouraged to reflect on their choices and to understand how, collectively, our purchasing patterns can make a difference.
