Help! I got drunk and had unprotected sex
Getting really drunk is risky, because situations you'd avoid when sober can happen while you're not fit to say 'no'. Always go out with mates if you're planning on drinking, and look out for each other. Never let a friend go off with a boy while she's drunk, and have a plan so that everyone gets home safely. Boys also have a responsibility not to go off with girls who are too drunk to know what they are doing. If you do have unprotected sex, you need to take the morning-after pill within 72 hours to prevent pregnancy, and get yourself checked out at the genitourinary medicine (GUM) clinic – and another time remember that it really isn't worth the hassle!
