Your responsibilities 12/12

| Back | ||
I love my boyfriend, but my faith forbids me to have sex before I'm married. How can I tell him? If your boyfriend cares for you, he should respect your feelings. But he might find them hard to understand, especially if he belongs to a different faith, or doesn't have any religion. Try to explain, by telling him: 'Staying true to my faith is very important to me, and that means I can't have sex with you. It doesn't mean I don't love you or fancy you, but I know I'll feel bad if we have sex. I hope you can understand that, and respect my decision.' |
