Let's Talk Sex

Your responsibilities 10/12

Boy talking to parents
Back    Next

I wish I could talk to my mum and dad about sex, but I feel awkward
It's all very well talking to mates about sex, but they might not know any more than you do, and some people even tell lies or make things up instead of admitting they don't know the answers. If you're not used to talking to your parents about sex you might feel embarrassed to start with, but why not give it a try? Your parents love you, and they'd much rather help you and answer your questions, than have you getting stressed or upset over problems and decisions on your own. Remember your parents were teenagers once, and they probably know more than you imagine about the kind of issues you're facing.
