At 17 society trusts you enough to operate a moving vehicle on
a motorway but doesn't trust you enough to make decisions about
the country you live in.
While you can't vote at 17, you can still be highly influential
in bringing about change.
By joining a pressure group you can lobby the government on a number
of important issues, ranging from drugs to war. Or, if you feel
strongly enough, you can start a campaign yourself and make radical
changes from the ground up. Have your say and be heard.
