1. Think about what's going to be on your website. Use Post-it notes to write down all the different things you want on your site. If it's about cow milking in Devon, you'll want a few pictures of cows, some text explaining how you milk them, possibly an interview with a farmer and and some links to other related sites so your visitors can find out more. Wow, cows really are amazing! |

2. Getting text, images, sounds and video for your website can be difficult. Not everyone can draw or has access to a video camera. But don't panic, visit our images, sounds and video library to find stuff for your website. |

3. You want people to enjoy visiting your website. Make it easy for visitors to read the text and find what they want quickly and easily. Make the experience fun. If users find your site difficult to use, they will become frustrated and leave. Be warned! |
