    To start the set, we needed a piece that would set the tone for a "big opening". To do this I wanted to create the effect of the show coming to life or the machine behind the band waking up. To do this I created a robot waking up, and cut that with a cyerborg type person waking up..

    The shots above represent the waking of the machine. To create these I filmed a friend in front of a blue screen. I then distorted the footage by re-mapping it over itself. I then filmed it off a computer TFT screen to create the grainy split field look. The split field look is caused by the interlacing of the fields breaking down. This creates a sort of cctv/sci-fi look.
