JADE RICHARDSON
Chancers is Jade Richardson's first project as a T4 music
consultant. Until this year she worked with record labels,
scouting and developing acts, proving to have an instinct
to recognise potential.
After doing A-levels at the BRIT Performing Arts School, Jade
joined a girl group, A Level, working with songwriters and
producers, but splitting before they signed a major deal.
But she used the knowledge she had gathered in those three
years, becoming a PA/A scout for Famous Music Publishing.
Eight months later, she moved on to Polydor Records as a
scout, bringing in acts like So Solid, Ms Dynamite and Gemma
Fox.
Going independent at the beginning of this year as Jade-Inc
she now offers consultancy to various bodies including Arts
Council England. Other current ventures are co-promoting the
weekly Live With Katy Moseley (Ministry Of Sound) in London's
Soho, hosted by Ras Kwame (1Xtra), which supports acoustic
performances by established and up and coming home grown talent.
She's also managing a female vocalist called M'pho Skeef.
