Paula is currently part of a band called the Underwolves, who perform in
London and the Home Counties. She says that all she wants to do is sing,
write and perform. At school she excelled in drama and art. She tries to
stay positive but is very outspoken on the things she feels strongly about.
Her sound has a Black Eyed Peas, festival sound, which she describes as
'urban cool jazz drum and bass'.
She first began singing and dancing at the age of three, and had her first studio
session at the age of 14. Her father was the one who recognised her talent
and hooked her up with her first producer. He drove her to London every
weekend for two years from the age of 14 to 16. She released her first single
in 1997 and she has been on various self-funded small-scale tracks on the underground.
She has performed at the Womad Festival in Reading, The Lemon Tree
in Aberdeen, the Jazz café and the 10 Rooms in London with various former bands.
