Choose one or two of these ideas to explore
with your child:
Provide a variety of dressing-up clothes.
Old clean dresses, hats or shoes from charity shops can be just
as much fun as shop-bought outfits! Try to include clothes from
different cultures. Encourage your child to fasten clothing themselves.
(Take care that the items you provide will not cause your child
to trip.)
Say some rhymes about clothes, eg:
Diddle, diddle dumpling, my son John
Went to bed with his trousers on,
One shoe off and one shoe on,
Diddle, diddle dumpling, my son John!
