Studying genetics used to take a lot of time and effort, but not any more. Now, you can perform your own experiments in minutes with Bug Lab! You are a scientist with your own population of insects, which breed and evolve over time. By controlling the amount of food, the temperature inside Bug Lab, and choosing pairs of bugs to mate, you will see some genetic characteristics survive while others slowly die out. You can even cause the bugs to mutate into cannibals! Can the bald bugs cope with the cold? Can the hairy bugs handle the heat? What happens when the food runs out? Once you have carried out the four experiments built into Bug Lab, you can make up your own experiments.
