Zac Rodes
Zac is very keen to get into carpentry and would really like to do an apprenticeship. Initially, he says that his interest comes from his Design Technology classes at school in which he worked a lot with wood. He feels he has always been creative. Physically, no. Mentally, yes, because as well as us doing the hands on work we have to do our portfolios and read drawings.

with other people?
Zac:
Yes, we all have to use key skills such as confidence, motivation, tolerance, teamwork etc to help us get through the project.

Zac:
Here's four: leadership, motivation, teamwork and tolerance.
Channel 4: What have you learned from Bricking It so far?
Zac:
Too much to write down, but the most important thing for me is to be good at what I do - and not some half-trained cowboy carpenter. To be passionate and professional.
Channel 4: What do you think you will do after Bricking It?
Zac:
To be taken on by a carpentry company or carpenter who has the time to teach me the skills I need to become a skilled, passionate carpenter who has the opportunity to move higher up in the construction industry.
