Ricky Crawford
Image conscious Ricky has a great sense of humour. He comes from a supportive family with a background in the trades. He had a hard time at school so now he is keen to prove he is a 'good bloke' and can 'get on with things' but, nevertheless, won't sit back and ignore things he thinks are wrong.

Ambition: To get a good apprenticeship, and follow in the footsteps of his bricklayer / scaffolder dad.
Bricking It Interview
Channel 4: Why did you decide that continuing in education wasn't for you?
Ricky: I got too old for it. I got to point where I felt like we were being treated like kids.
Channel 4: What are you hoping to achieve from Bricking It?
Ricky: To get some basic knowledge of working in construction.
Channel 4: Why do you want to work in construction?
Ricky: Because of my dad, he used to work in construction and I want to follow in his footsteps.
Channel 4: What's your ideal job?
Ricky: Before
taking part in the project it was plumbing and carpentry but now it's demolition. I really enjoyed using the big drills.
Channel 4: What have you learnt from Bricking It so far?
Ricky: Basic plumbing and plastering and teamwork.
