Channel 4: Did Bricking It live up to your expectations?
Dan: Yes it did. Apart from the pressure it was exactly what I thought it was going to be like. Very good fun.
Channel 4: What was the best thing about Bricking It?
Dan: I most enjoyed the different experiences, being away from
home, working under pressure and with a new team. It was all different
from what I knew before, and, for me, it was a new start.
Channel 4: And the worst thing?
Dan: I least enjoyed my behaviour, when I had little kiddy
tantrums. I felt frustrated with myself and was looking for other
people to be scapegoat.
Channel 4: What was your high point?
Dan: The high point was everything at the start. But then my mum died. Trying to deal with this and living away from my friends was hard.
Channel 4: What do you think you'll do now?
Dan: I'm working in a local bar cooking. I'm going to take
some time out to sort my head out and sort my place out and then decide
what I want to do. I'm thinking of retaking my GCSE's and A Levels
to help me get onto courses.
Channel 4: Any advice on working in construction?
Dan: Make sure it's for you.
Channel 4: And finally…
