Looking Back Interview

How was Bricking It for you?
I gained a lot of new friends! Got to see a lot of funny stuff, which I will always remember and be able to have a good laugh about. I have had the opportunity to see what the television industry is like and have been able to work with a great bunch of characters… It's been all good!

What was the best thing about Bricking It?
I most enjoyed working with a really good bunch of people and being able to encourage the young crew (trainees).

Seeing the finished product and attending the rap party was also enjoyable.

And the worst thing?
Getting up at 5.30 every day to get to Woolwich by 7.45am and not getting home till 8-ish at night was a bit of a killer. I love a good journey though!

Can anyone make it in the construction industry, or does it take a certain type of person?
I think that anyone with the right desire and motivation can make it in the construction industry. Obviously it is not for everyone.

What did Bricking It tell you about young people today?
They are not a lot different to any of us. We all need encouragement, the right opportunities in life and to have a little fun.

What was your high point?
The high point of the project apart would have to be slotting that last marble tile into place.

And your low point?
The low point… I suppose missing an easy goal against Dr Phil in a little soccer match we had was fairly disappointing. We had fun though!

And finally…
Good times, great people, best experience ever!
