Zac, who witnessed everything, isn't sure what he thinks. In some ways he doesn't blame Ricky for losing his temper, but in other ways he does.

But in his meeting with Ricky, Dr Phil explains that he has only one option: to dismiss him. Ricky leaves gutted about his exclusion from the project. He barely stays to hear Dr Phil out. Walking off site Ricky tells Phil that he thinks Dan was deliberately winding him up.

Among the trainees reactions are mixed. David feels that Ricky had to go. "I don't think it's fair to keep Ricky on if he's broken a rule." Greg Males regrets Ricky's departure. "I'd rather get rid of two people in the group than lose Ricky."
