It's all hands to the pump as the electrics, plumbing and plasterboard are all finished.
The Work
Weeks 4 to 6
It can look a nightmare but it's those big structural milestones that need doing first...
The electrical first fix begins, and a spaghetti junction of cables snakes along the ceilings and inside the walls to the locations of switches, sockets and electrical fittings.
The plumbing first fix also gets underway. Pipework is planned and fixed, all behind and within the open walls.
The electrical and plumbing First Fixes complete, the walls are 'closed up'. This means that the open side of the walls is fixed with plasterboard, and the cables and pipes are concealed.
