Sign Off Failure

After Hannah's week of being the on site foreman, the trainees fail their sign off. Dr Phil has to pull in tradesmen to complete the work and get them back on schedule. This means £2,400 taken out of the bonus.

Greg Males: Written Warning

Greg's been late 11 times and Dr Phil has had enough. It's time to put him on a written warning. One more slip up and Greg will be off Bricking It. It's another £1,000 deducted from the Bonus, and the total now sitting at £26,600.

Soaps: Dismissed

Dr Phil has put Soaps on probation for two weeks, to prove to him that she wants to stay on Bricking It as her attendance has been so low. In the first week's probation Soaps is on time everyday. By the second week things are slipping. While everyone else is already on site, Soaps comes into work half and hour late. After one good night too many, Soaps is off Bricking It. With £3,500 taken out, the completion bonus is down to £23,100.

Zac: Verbal Warning

After Zac decides to stay at home and fix a car rather than go into work – Dr Phil issues him with a verbal warning. That's £500 out of the bonus.

Sign Off Failure: Painting and Decorating

Dr Phil told them it would be the hardest task of all – but the trainees didn't believe him and thought after the slog of the second fix, it would be plain sailing. It wasn't. The out and out failure of the painting and decorating stage costs the trainees £2,500. The bonus is now down to £20,100.

Extra Work

The impact of the painting and decorating failure means a final £2,100 off the bonus.

Total Deductions

In the last 6 weeks the bonus has slipped a further £12,000.

At the beginning there was a whopping £50,000 completion bonus up for grabs. Along the way there have been warnings, cock-ups and dismissals which have cost our trainees a huge £32,000.

All that's left is £18,000.

At the end of Bricking It, our six remaining trainees receive £3,000 each to start them off in their new careers.
