Cast

Anna Massey (VI) has enjoyed a long and distinguished career in theatre, film and TV productions including Hotel du Lac (for which she won a BAFTA award for best actress) The Cherry Orchard and The Mayor of Casterbridge. Her film appearances have included celebrated performances in Alfred Hitchcock's Frenzy, Mad Cows, David Copperfield and The Looking Glass War.

 

Sian Phillips (RU) has collected numerous awards for her film, TV and theatre performances, including the New York Critics' Award for Goodbye Mr Chips. Her film work includes Dune, Valmont, Clash of the Titans and The Age of Innocence.

 

Paola Dionisotti (FLO) has appeared in many National Theatre and Royal Shakespeare Company productions, including Measure for Measure (RSC), The Taming of the Shrew (RSC), Richard II (RSC), Antony and Cleopatra (RSC), Moscow Gold (RSC), Camino Real (RSC), The Goldoni Trilogy (National), The Wandering Jew (National), Richard II (National) and Ninagawa's production of Peer Gynt (Barbican). She has also starred in The Relapse at the Chichester Festival and King Lear at the Old Vic. Her television work includes Within These Walls, A Murder Is Announced, The Bill, Forever Green and Peak Practice. Film credits include The Sailor's Return, Sakharov, Les Miserables, Vigo ... A Passion for Life, Intimacy and The Titchbourne Claimant. Dionisotti is also one of the contributing authors of 'Clamorous Voices: Shakespeare's Women Today,' published by Routledge, 1989.
