Money matters – but how much?

People have different attitudes to their own and other people’s money.

• Some people won’t take any risks with spending money, others don’t mind taking risks, and some get a thrill from risking losing it.
• Some people budget how to earn and spend money very carefully whilst others don’t bother
• Some can’t wait to spend money – they are spendthrifts, whilst others are savers
• Some just aren’t interested in financial matters, but others are fascinated by them.

Think about each character in Looking after the Penneys, decide what his/her attitude to money is and think of some evidence from the programme to prove it.
