The Penneys section of this site has been written specifically for teachers to support students’ activities for the series. It contains a wealth of information about personal financial management for teachers to download and use themselves or with students.

part of The Red Box Citizenship programme provided by Her Majesty's Treasury, the Inland Revenue and Her Majesty's Customs and Excise to teach 7–16 year olds about tax and public spending. Using a combination of game play and answering questions, students control the budget for The Square and raise enough money to maintain, or preferably improve, the services offered.
