09.59 - 11.51
Footage, commentary and interviews explain the decision by a former Samsung employee to set up his own business. Myung Soo Kim says that he wanted the freedom to be his own boss instead of the safety of life within a corporation.
11.51 - 16.05
Solmi has a day off and visits her parents' farm. Footage, commentary and interviews show the strong contrasts between urban and rural life. The continuing familial links between the two are also evident, with most town-based young people returning whenever possible to help on the land.
16.05 - end
Solmi's grandmother becomes the focus for a brief discussion of Korea's economic and social changes since 1953, when the war ended. It becomes apparent that Solmi also aspires to break with the corporation and own her own shop.
