Ask children to use all available information sources to research Egyptian grave robbers. Who was considered to be a grave robber and in what periods were most of the treasures stolen? Record and discuss children’s findings.

- What Belzoni actually discovered and why it was important. What insight did it give into the Ancient Egyptian way of life?
- Were painting and drawing the only methods of recording available to the Belzonis?
- What factors caused the Belzonis to become so poor?
