• Use folded paper or squared paper to illustrate ²/₄ = ¹/₁. Extend to include other fraction equivalences such as ⁵/₁₀ = ¹/₂ and ²/₁₀ = ¹/₂.
• Use fraction cards for matching or ordering fractions.
• Extend work to include fractions of a quantity using counters and money.
