• To offer dramatic aerial and ground-level footage to illustrate coastal landforms found along the south coast of England.
• To give explanations of the main physical factors — mass wasting, erosion, transport, and deposition — operating on coasts.
• To explain how and why people intervene to manage coastal environments.
