A Place To Live

Programme Outline

Kingston is the capital of Jamaica, the home of Reggae music, and where shantytowns on ‘captured’ (not owned) land are common. The forested Blue Mountains, formed originally by volcanic action, are famous as a coffee growing region. On the North Coast are sandy beaches and coral reefs. Children from the local schools introduce us to their school, their country, their way of life and the links that exist between the UK and Jamaica.
