Programme Outline

The programme begins with children from different countries presenting stereotypical views about Sweden. We then meet Hannah who lives in Göteborg. She is a member of a pop group and we join her group at a rehearsal. During the programme, we see Hannah and her friends at school, we visit one of them at home and find out more about their group. We also visit Södertälje (pronounced ‘Serderteellyer’) where a scout troop is preparing to sell mayflowers to raise money to help disabled children. The prize for the group raising the most money is a performance by Hannah’s pop group. We now join the scout troop at their summer camp where the children learn that they have won the prize for selling the most flowers. The programme ends with a performance in Södertälje for the scout troop by Hannah’s pop group.
