Programme Outline
The programme begins with 10-year-old Emma telling us about her city, Copenhagen, showing us her home and talking about her hobbies. Her parents are divorced and she spends weekdays with her mother and stepfather. We meet Emma’s best friend, Frida, who tell us more about Denmark and life at school. We take part in a Geography lesson. After school, we join the friends at their youth club. Later, they go on to a museum to try to collect information for their homework. At the weekend, we join Emma and her brother Aksel, on their visit to their father and his new wife. Frida’s parents are also divorced, and back in Copenhagen, the two friends discuss this issue. The programme ends with a party at Emma’s house.
