Baby in the Balance

Programme Outline

Recognising and using the relationships between familiar units of mass

Sam and Amber have acquired a baby pozzle and want to keep it as a pet. When they consult their reference library to find out what kind of food pozzles like to eat, they also find out that pozzles have to eat five times their weight every day. Uncle Zak needs the accurate scales for an experiment, so Amber devises a balance so they can weigh the pozzle. Numberella explains to Sam the relationship between grams and kilograms. The baby pozzle weighs 2kg, so needs 10kg of food every day.
