Wattbot in Distress

Programme Outline

Recognising and using the relationships between centimetre, metre and kilometre

Sam is very keen to involve Amber and Wattbot 11 in an old game called Batterball. Unfortunately, he gives the wrong measurements for the pitch size and, as a result, a Wattbot falls down a ravine and is injured. Uncle Zak offers to use his helicopter to lift the injured Wattbot out of the ravine if Sam and Amber can make him a crate. Sam gets his measurements wrong again and Botler produces a gigantic crate. The children call for Numberella, who explains the relationship between centimetres, metres and kilometres. Sam and Amber realise their error. They soon have a suitable crate ready and the injured Wattbot is transferred safely back to base.
