On their first day on Junkiter, Amber and Sam meet Botler, the domestic robot who is another source of help with their mathematical problems. They also meet the Wattbots who are numbered, general-purpose robots with reliability problems. Lisa, the pilot, asks the children to help load and order her cargo pods. They order the pods by size, rather than their numbers. Lisa discovers that Amber and Sam are having problems with this and enlists the help of Numberella. She suggests using a number line and offers some advice on how to order the numbers quickly.
