Aims

To:

• Explain how Genoa rose to become Italy's leading port and a major industrial city.
• Show how Genoa differs from many other Italian cities, using striking aerial shots.
• Trace Genoa's decline and regeneration, and social issues, especially immigration, by following the lives of individuals currently living in the city.
