Bridgid Nzekwu, the second presenter, records the weather forecast| in advance of the evening news bulletin. The forecast arrives by email from the Met Office. Bridgid goes into the studio next door to the newsroom, bumping into Jon Snow who has just recorded the trailer for tonight's programme.

Bridgid reads the forecast from autocue. She won't be in vision, but her voice will be heard under the animated pictures of tomorrow's forecast.

After the recording, she goes into the control room to check that the recording is fine and to clip it. This involves identifying the beginning and end points and saving it to the server ready to be played out at the end of the programme.
