Ed has made running order| changes. The bomb blast in Baghdad has moved from the top of the newsbelt to second place in the running order because of the powerful agency pictures coming out of Iraq. A producer is in an edit suite working on the story. The fuel protest story, which has turned out to be something of a non-story, has dropped down the running order, but is still included since Ed Fraser feels it is of relevance to every viewer because everyone has a car or uses public transport.
There's still no guest confirmed for the UN World Summit story. Martha Finlay, who books guests for the programme, says they are hoping to get one of Kofi Annan's advisers to do a live interview. There are lines booked out of the USA at the top of the programme, so if the guest can be available, all will run smoothly.
